Easter 2013

We had such a great Easter weekend with our little man.  We decided to attend church on Saturday evening so we could sleep in a little Sunday before heading down to Stephen's parent's house for dinner and an egg hunt.  Sundays mess up Patrick's schedule because we are in church when he should be taking his first nap, so sometimes he's a bit cranky in the afternoon.  We thought if we went to church Saturday night we could avoid this so he would be in good spirits while he visited the family.  My plan was to wake him at 8:00 but I was tired and let him sleep until 8:30 which meant he didn't get his full morning play time before I tried to put him down for a nap.  Apparently, he really likes his play time because he fussed and cried for over an hour and ended up only getting a 20 minute nap! Needless to say, my plan to avoid messing up his schedule didn't work out.  He was in a pretty good mood for most of the day though so it worked out. 

 We took a photo like this at Christmas and attempted another one for Easter.  Trying to get the "troops" in place and all looking at the camera didn't go smoothly, but it is nice to have all the cousins together.

Christmas 2012

Unfortunately, Patrick and I missed the hunt because it was his feeding time, but Stephen was able to get some good shots of the cousins.  I can't wait until next year, hopefully Patrick will be walking by then.  Holidays will be a true circus once he's mobile and able to keep up with Kennedy, Eli, & Wyatt!

All the kids had a great time and the adults really enjoyed watching them all play together.  I don't want my sweet boy to grow up too quickly but I can't wait until he is able to join in on all the fun.

We stopped by my aunt's house on the way home for a quick visit with my family then we took a family walk once we got home.  Poor Greta had been home alone all day and was ready for some action! Patrick fell asleep on the walk and woke up super cranky, but who can blame him since he didn't get his first two naps...
